Where it started

A strong product, and a founder who had never done the finance side.

Abby had built something people were already using. Studentan brings more than a hundred and fifty AI tools into one interface for students, graduates, freelancers and small business owners, with a free tier for students and a subscription for everyone else. Thousands of users, clear pricing, and a product she understood inside out.

What she had not done before was tell that story to an investor. That is a different discipline. It means deciding what belongs in the documents and what does not, making the numbers say the same thing in every place they appear, and being ready for the questions rather than surprised by them. None of it is intuitive if finance has never been your job.

Clear documents, and a story she could tell an investor in her own words.
