Ahmed was building an operating layer for customer service teams across the UAE and the wider GCC. Not a chatbot: a system that captures every interaction, works out what it means, acts on it and audits the result. The product was pilot-ready and the market timing was right.
What he did not have was a set of documents that could survive scrutiny. A pre-seed investor being asked for $600K wants to know the plan is commercialisation rather than research, that the numbers behind it hold together, and that the founder has thought about what happens if they do not.
